Finally...the last day of school is here. You dont know how long I have been waiting for this day, ever sense I walked through the front door last August. I can not begin to express how good its going to feel to sleep past 6:30 AM Monday morning, not havig to worry about homework and tests or what confusing lesson my phycis teacher is going to teach that day. I have enjoy my first block class with Ms. Moore...the constent jokes and joning on students, the arguements about differnet topics, the weird and sometimes sad things she finds for us to do classwork on. I have to say im going to miss this block, but im sooo glad junior year is over and senior year is coming. But it always makes me stop and say wow..im growing up and bout to be in college soon. Well i just got to enjoy young life as much as I can.......so have a great summer everybody. P.S see you next year.(Hopefully)

Miley Cyrus Can't Be Tamed?
Miley Cyrus is growing up before our eyes, and she can't be tamed! So she claims....Miley looks fierce as she escapes from a bird cage in her music video "Can't Be Tamed". I think this video has a more grown up feel to it than her pasted music videos, with a more unique lady gaga look and edgy dark rihanna style. At first look you may think that she is acting a little too "sexy" in the video...but keep in mind people she is growing up, besides I think she looks beautiful. Tell me what you think....Enjoy the video below

Social Responsibility: The Young Minds
Your Social responsibilites help build your character, but in todays world a lot of teenagers have no self-control, respect, honesty, determination, or dependability because of what they see and hear in todays society. A lot of parents dont care about what their kids are doing and they have very little impact in their childs life. In turn depending on the child, they may think that its ok to do whatever they want...thats when the Monkey See Monkey Do effect happens. They see somebody drinking, partying all night long, smoking, and acting dumb..and want to do it too. Without the proper reinforcement from an authority figure this could easily ruin their life.
To me one of the biggest influences is MUSIC...Because if you think about it music tells, teaches, and expresses a lot of stuff...and not all of it is good. I have a little 9 year old friend whos like a little sister to me and she knows every song on the radio for r&b, hip hop, and rap..I mean EVERY SONG. And some music now a days dont really beep out curse words no more..they just slur them and if I can understand them I know she can. She knows what those words mean and what thay are because of her parents who always curse in front of her. But I always tell her that she should not use those words till shes older. But the real reponsibility goes to our parents to make sure we act decent so future generations can act the same way decent.

Ripped and Torn
Ripped and Torn clothing is really hot now, but ripped tights dont really look that good to me. They do show that you have your own style and that you dont care about what others might think...but theres a thin line between whats fashion and whats not. I remember when I was younger and i used to wear stockings, I would get sooo mad if a hole got in them or if they ripped. My mother would yell at me to be careful and not ruin my stuff, but they always got messed up somehow. In todays world its the New "cool" look...torn, shredded, ripped, holes, runs, etc. My queston is how do you get into these type of tights without causing more damage?
The look do look good on some, but also bad on others...heres Miley Cyrus on a trip to LA in her ripped tights that actually to me dont look bad..being young we teenagers will try different styles to see what we like
Lindsay Lohan tights is another story...something about this look I dont like maybe it's because of the embedded memories of whippings i used to get if my stockings look like this..

How to Lie
(WARNING:Only use these steps if you are not putting your life or anybody esles life in danger.)
We all have told white lies some point in our lives(I know I have). Whether it was to your parents, teachers, relatives etc...But some of us get caught in the act because we make minor misakes such as body language giving us away. So the next time you are in front of your parents and they are about to interrogate you remember these steps to be a successful liar....
1.Decide if what your lying about is worth the effort and the potential consequences. It's a personal decision, you do not want to become a compulive lair and ruin your life. Do the benefits of telling the lie outweigh the risks?
2.Force yourself to believe your lie is true. This will make you naturally act like your telling the truth.
3.Look the person in the eye to whom your lying to. Don't look around, but dont stare either.
4.Follow through. Never forget about your lie, and treat it like it actually happened.
5. Do not try to distract the other person. It is very obvious when someone is trying to change the subject.
6.If possible, combine your lie with the truth a little.
7.Make sure your lie can not be linked with anything anybody can relate to or look up. The lie is basically out of the bag then.
8.Think about the questions the person your lying to may ask. So you will be ready with a come back.
The key to convining somebody you are telling the truth is to keep a balance of fact and friction

ANTM and Glamazonia????
Ok soo the new season of America's Next Top Model aired Wednesday night on the CW and things got a little freaky on ANTM when plus sized model Jeanna stated that she had her own make believe world called Glamazonia. In Jeanna's mind glamazonia is a place where tall and beautiful female models live. And in tradition, the women of the world "sacrifice" a male once a year...after a little bit more elaboration Tyra proceeds to make her co-star Jay Manuel lay on the floor and be so called "sacrificed"...she mounted him, and yeaa..the scene was cut..also this season features two Atlantans Alasia(18) and Anslee(23). Alasia a high school student from wheeler high who makes an impression virtually the first momment the show starts. She has a bubbly persona, but she quickly rubbed some of the others the wrong way. She is not shy about fighting back.
Anslee who is intense but different, she's a country girl who put her child first after trying out earlier but got pregnant. And up for the challenage of being judged because she has "thick skin",.. the likes of Tyra and Mr.Jay didnt phase her.

Fashion Flaws...What were they thinking?!?!
Out in public celebs are expected to dress and look a certain way, but this does not always happen. Here are some celebs who did their own thing this week....
Here's Lady Gaga wearing some hideous headgear and a shiny, shoulder pad-enhanced suit.
The typically stylish will.i.am is seen here wearing sport sweatpants out in public.
Ok, this week was Jennifer Love Hewitt's birthday,so lets cut her a little sack, but what is she wearing?
Here's Tracy Morgan in a red leather tracksuit instead of a tux at the premiere of this new film "cop out".

The Personality Behind the Color...
Most of us have done some type of personality test at some time. Perhaps you were asked to do a formal test for a career assessment, or maybe you've just done some fun tests on the internet. Well here's something a little different. Do you know your personality behind the color?
Purple- Highly individual, witty and sensitive, with a strong desire to be unique and different. Temperamental and artistic. A purple person may come aloof and sarcastic if misunderstood.
Green- This is the color of harmony and balance. Green represents hope, renewal and peace, and is usually liked by the gentle and sincere. Green people are modest and patient, so alot of times they get expoilted by others. They are refined and civilized.
Pink- Love and affection without passion. Women who prefer pink tend to be maternal. Pink desires protection, special treatment and want to appear fragile and delicate.
Red- The color of strength, health and vitality. Red is often the color of somebody who is expressive and outgoing, aggressive, and impulsive. They find it hard to be objective and blame others for their mishaps.
Blue- Soft, soothing, compassionate and caring. Blue is the color of deliberation and duty. Patient, senstive and self-controlled. Blues like to be admired for their steady character and wisdom. Faithful but cautious.
Orange- This is the color of luxury and pleasure appeals to the flamboyant and fun loving person who likes a lively social round. Dramatize a bit. They try hard to be agreeable.
Brown- A brown person has stamina and patience. Dependable, steady, and conservative. Browns are not impulsive, and may be tactless but they love responsibility and are reliable and kindly.
Whats your color? Do your personality match?

You Got Your Gift?
You waited...You wavered if you really like this person....You didn't have time...You're on a limited budget...You just couldn't decide. Well the countdown is on my dudes and dudettes. As we all know Valentine's Day is this Sunday. For whatever reason you delayed, and your not ready, you need to come up with something quick or you may end up spending the night alone. Ok, so for my dudes out there every lady LOVES a gift, and if you want to keep it simple go with some roses, a cute I LUV U teddy bear, a card, or if you have a sexy talent go ahead and flaunt that. We females like that. Now for my fellas with some extra cash in their pockets go out and buy your girl some jewelry, accessories, take her out on a nice date just you and her and have a good time. Now for the divas, you know boys love to eat..so if you are good in the kicthen cook him something. Even if you're not go ahead and buy something. Make him a card, buy him a accessorie for his phone or whatever esle he has, give him a chain heart necklace with your picture in it, or express your true feelings about him. But all-in-all its up to you to find out what girlfriend or boyfriend likes......To me the best gift to give is the HEART.

Teacher/Student Love Relationships
It's gross, but sadly it's not illegal. Have you ever been in class and noticed your male teacher "eyein" this one girl out all the time and she sending him signals back; or your female teacher "rubbin" up against some boy, while he's trying to talk his talk.
Such was the case of a Cobb county teacher who was 36 years old and who was believe to have had sexual relations with a 17 year old girl, when news got and he was sent to court the only thing the judge could do was give him some advice and a warning. Why? Because believe it or not, it was not illegal. The reason, because in Georgia the age of constent is 16 years old and the girl was at the time.
I think this is wrong because even at 16 a lot of teenagers are still not emotionally mature and are unable to understand and accept the reponsibilites and risks of their actions. Like pregnancy, rumors, legal issues, and being taken advantage of. And since you have adults who want to mess around with a underage child it's clear that they are irresponsable themselves.
A lot of kids look up to teachers as their authority figures, so students put alot of trust into them thinking that they can be trusted. And a lot of teachers use this authority as a advantage to get to the students. I think teachers that do this should be fired, listed as child molesters and not allowed to work with minors anymore.
